Proofs from the Vedas that God is Unborn, Omnipresent, Ageless, and Formless
**Proofs from the Vedas that God is Unborn, Omnipresent, Ageless, and Formless**

## Proofs that God is Unborn (Ajanmā)
1. The unborn God, who does not take birth, upholds the earth through imperishable, eternal principles.
*(Ṛgveda 1.67.3)*
2. May the unborn, unique, unparalleled God be benevolent and auspicious for us.
*(Ṛgveda 7.35.13)*
3. The unborn God, who is not produced from any form of material transformation, moves within the womb-dwelling soul and within the hearts of all beings.
*(Yajurveda 31.19)*
4. The Supreme Soul is omnipotent; free from gross, subtle, and causal bodies; without pores or channels; unattached to any bodily bonds; pure; free from ignorance and all defects; sinless; and all-pervading. He is the seer (kavi), the knower of the mental states of all beings, and the chastiser of the wicked. Being beginningless in nature, He does not undergo birth, destruction, parental origin, gestation, growth, or death. For His eternal subjects (souls), He truly fashions all entities through the Vedas.
*(Yajurveda 40.8)*

## God Is Omnipresent
1. The infinite Brahman is spread everywhere.
*(Atharvaveda 10.8.12)*
2. The heavenly realm and the earthly realm cannot encompass the extent of His pervasiveness.
*(Ṛgveda 1.52.14)*
3. O luminous Divine One! You see all from every side. Everything lies before You; nothing is behind You. O God, You are present everywhere.
*(Ṛgveda 1.97.6)*
4. To the ignorant, Brahman appears to move; yet in His own nature (being all-pervading), He does not move. Though free from distance of space and time due to His omnipresence, He appears distant because of ignorance and is near to those free from ignorance. He exists within all beings and also beyond them all.
*(Yajurveda 40.5)*
5. The all-productive Supreme Being is behind and before, above and below. That omnipresent Lord, the source of all creation, may grant us desired objects and bestow upon us long life.
*(Ṛgveda 10.26.14)*
6. That Rudra-form Supreme Being exists in fire; He pervades waters, medicinal herbs, and ponds through His all-encompassing presence.
*(Atharvaveda 7.87.1)*
---
## God Is Ageless (Ajara – Free from Old Age)
1. O ageless Supreme Lord, through Your protection may we attain the fulfillment of our mental aspirations.
*(Ṛgveda 6.5.7)*
2. One who upholds the ageless, all-sovereign God swiftly attains supreme wisdom.
*(Ṛgveda 6.19.2)*
3. The wise person who knows the steadfast, ageless, immortal Supreme Being does not fear death or calamity.
*(Atharvaveda 10.8.44)*
4. We should earnestly pray to that great, exalted, supremely wise, and ageless Supreme Being.
*(Ṛgveda 6.49.10)*

## God Is Formless (Nirākāra)
1. The Supreme Being is omnipotent; free from gross, subtle, and causal bodies; without pores or channels; unattached to bodily bonds; pure; free from ignorance and sin; and all-pervading. He is the seer, the knower of the minds of all beings, and the chastiser of the wicked. Being beginningless, He is beyond birth, growth, decay, and death, and truly fashions all entities for His eternal subjects through the Vedas.
*(Yajurveda 40.8)*
2. God has no image, likeness, measurable form, symbol, or representation comparable to Him; therefore, God is formless.
*(Yajurveda 32.3)*
3. The all-sovereign, all-powerful Lord is without feet or limbs and is formless.
*(Ṛgveda 8.69.11)*
4. God is present in all beings and yet distinct from all—such a quality is possible only in a formless reality.
*(Yajurveda 31.1)*
5. That Supreme Being, who pervades all creatures from every side, permeates the earth and all worlds, and encompasses all directions—above, below, and across—enters directly and perfectly into the essence of Truth. Knowing the Vedic Word that arose at the beginning of creation, may we realize Him with a pure inner consciousness. (Such a quality is possible only in the formless.)
*(Yajurveda 32.11)*

Apart from these, numerous other Vedic mantras also establish that God is unborn, formless, omnipresent, ageless, and eternal. The day humanity accepts the God as described in the Vedas, all forms of superstition and sinful practices committed in the name of religion will come to an end.
